Innovating the Future of Ethanol
We believe the future of ethanol production relies on two key elements: empowering farmers and advancing renewable energy.
Supporting Local Farmers
As a leading ethanol plant near North Platte, MAAPW is proud to source the majority of our corn directly from local farmers. We also collaborate with area co-ops and grain merchandisers, ensuring smooth delivery and operations. These strong partnerships not only keep our plant running, but also support local communities and contribute to the nation's energy future.
Our strong relationships with farmers, refiners, cattle feeders, and gasoline blenders are built on a foundation of trust, accountability, and mutual benefit. In a competitive industry, we know that seamless logistics and reliable delivery make all the difference. At MAAPW, farmers appreciate our efficient processes that eliminate long waits, and customers count on us for timely, hassle-free product delivery—every time.
Carbon Capture and Sequestration
In 2022, MAAPW took a significant step toward sustainability by implementing Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) technology. This transformative initiative is helping reduce carbon emissions, boost environmental responsibility, and set the stage for a cleaner, more sustainable future in the ethanol industry.
MAAPW will become one of the few ethanol plants in the U.S. to implement CCS. By the end of 2025, MAAPW will be one of fewer than 10% of the country's ethanol plants equipped to sequester carbon. This technology will dramatically shrink our carbon footprint, paving the way for us to lead the charge in sustainable biofuel innovation.
