Mike Kluthe, General Manager, has been a part of the MAAPW team since the inception.
Mike Kluthe has served as General Manager of Mid America Agri Products – Wheatland (MAAPW) since the plant’s inception, playing a key role in its development and long-term success. With deep roots in the company, Mike was instrumental during the plant’s construction, serving as Project Manager before transitioning into his current leadership role.
Prior to joining MAAPW, Mike built an extensive career in construction management. He held several leadership roles with Austin Power, contributing to the construction of the Gerald Gentleman Station for the Nebraska Public Power District. He later advanced to Vice President of Construction at Lundeen, Inc., where he further honed his expertise in project delivery and operational leadership.
Since 2005, Mike’s steady leadership and technical insight have been essential to MAAPW’s operations and growth, helping to guide the ethanol plant from construction to full-scale production.
